Polubiografichesky film about Bruce Lee's mentor. 30 years of the last century, the city of Foshan in Guangdong Province of China. School of martial arts are a tough fight for the students. Martial arts master Ip Man (Donnie Yen) is not looking for fame - his mastery of comrades in the profession have long appreciated.
